Everybody's fruggin'
Overheard in my business ethics 300-level class today when discussing environmental issues

Yeah, it’s bad because the ozone is melting, because the sun got too hot.

Let’s say you run for President; fourth gif with words is your campaign motto
Him?

I don’t know who drew this, but it’s pretty damn awesome.

The upside of Netflix is I don’t have to actually pay money to watch my dumb girly movies. The downside is every less than impressive movie viewing lives on in Netflix history, just waiting for someone to stumble across my recently watched list.

So I just got a new job!

While I love, love, LOVE the people I work with, I was beginning to get the feeling that it was time to move on, career-wise, i.e. not stay in a receptionist-type position forever. I was planning on waiting until after the new year to start applying, but than THE job opened up. It was a job as an administrative assistant in the department that handles public relations, marketing, physician liaisons, patient and employee satisfaction, and communications.  Basically all the really cool stuff. The position has a really diverse set of duties and a lot of opportunities to develop my skills, network, and actually use the skills I already have. And, as a bonus, I had already worked with most of the people in this department on a committee. I decided to go ahead and apply and was crazy, disproportionately nervous. I got together writing samples, bought a suit for the interview, prepped like crazy, and finally actually interviewed on Tuesday. I got the call today that I got the job! I’ll be starting in January, and I am so excited!

I am sad to be leaving my coworkers, who are some of the most awesome people ever. We have a great time together, and my boss is the best boss I’ve ever had by far. They were all very supportive, though, and really happy for me. I am positively giddy and wanted to share the news.

No, David Yates. You are a ruiner of lives.

He is the destroyer of worlds!

What the eff?

I’m so ecstatic I could just about cry.
Thanks for not letting me down, Mississippi. I was worried there for a minute.
